Top Stories: Pizza Opens the Box and looks inside!!! Sources reveal several Allied fleets have been spotted entering Open the Box alliances territory yesterday. Pizza informed reporters that the present offensive is an attempt to establish stability in the immediate area. It is true that Open is slightly larger than us however their reluctance to accept our NAP offer has all allies on guard. "It's an economic nightmare!" said one Defense Minister while explaining that having to keep a major bulk of our fleets along our border with Open 24/7 for defensive reasons is putting a serious limitation on our offensives along our other borders. Sources also indicate that a large amount of alliance swapping is going on elsewhere in the area and it is vital to our survival that we increase our Sphere of Influence if we are to stay these future Mega-Alliances which are now forming. Pizza is a crook, warmonger and the meanest Pizza flipper this side of Endor but none of these really played a role in Pizza's decision. "It's a matter of security, with Open's leader's reluctance to accept NAP offers this leaves little mistake for interpretation." Pizza concluded his debate with his Ministers by addressing the fact that Open's leader insisted that they accept nobody's NAP offers. This is questionable. It was said that they like to keep thier options open. Well open their options are. Win or lose it was an action we had to take. If we sat idly by and watched other Empires change alliances to form these Mega-Alliances then it would only be a matter of time before they began looking at our territory. Statistics are what we look for when locating a target and if we remain still, our stats would show us as easy prey in short time. Preliminary reports look promising, success in the elimination of this threat then we will be in an equal postition with the major players in this gal. Peace has been established with surrounding Empires and cooperative campaigns are on the agenda however no details can be released at this time. |
